HOW DOES INSIGHT MASSAGE WORK?

Insight massage helps you book a five-star massage to your home, hotel, office, or event in as little as an hour. We match your massage request with a vetted, certified therapists available in your area at the specified time. At your appointment time, a therapist will arrive at your door with massage table, fresh linens, lotions, oils, and music to ensure a relaxing massage. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy your massage.

WHAT TYPES OF SERVICES ARE OFFERED BY INSIGHT MASSAGE?

Insight massage connects you with therapists who offer deep tissue, Swedish, sports, and prenatal massage. Any of these modalities can be performed as a couples massage, either with two massage therapists performing simultaneous massage or one therapists performing massage one after another. The therapists also offer chair and table massage delivered to your office or event .

HOW DO I PICK A THERAPIST?

We will match you with the highest quality therapists available at the time specified. You have the option to choose a male or female therapist if you have a preference, but are not able to select the exact therapist that you’d like.

HOW DOES INSIGHT SELECT THE THERAPISTS IN ITS NETWORK?

We’re very careful about the therapists we select to join our Insight network. We vet each therapist to make sure they are fully licensed or certified in their practice area. We also verify they are insured by a reputable firm that is well known in the industry. We accept only the highest quality therapists, with only about 2/7 of applicants being accepted on to the Insight network.

In most states the process to become a certified therapist (CMT) requires applicants to successfully pass a background check conducted by a state investigator before being deemed safe to work with the public. All therapists working with Insight have passed these government-sponsored certification measures. In order to become a CMT, a therapist must also complete a minimum of 500 hours of practical training, but some states require as much as 1,000 hours.

All of the therapists have the highest level of integrity and professionalism. In return, we expect all clients to reciprocate the same level of respect and conduct.
(In Canada, all of the therapists are experienced professionals; however, not all are RMTs)

CAN I REBOOK WITH THE SAME THERAPIST?

Yes, absolutely! After your first massage with a massage therapist using Insight massage , you can request to re-book with that same therapist right from the website.

CAN I BOOK A MASSAGE DIRECTLY WITH A THERAPIST INSTEAD OF THROUGH INSIGHT MASSAGE?

Insight takes the stress out of booking a massage and is able to function because of the honor system. If you enjoy massages, we hope that you will do your part in keeping our eco-system intact. We strongly encourage our clients to use Insight exclusively for all of their massage needs.

HOW MUCH CLOTHING SHOULD I REMOVE?

Feel free to undress to your level of comfort. If you’d prefer to leave on undergarments, be our guest. If you feel more comfortable nude, you may undress completely and position your body under the sheet. Therapists are trained to properly drape your body to protect your modesty and theirs.

WHAT ABOUT PARKING?

When booking, we ask that you provide detailed parking information. Your therapist will do their best to find free parking. However, if your therapist is unable to locate free parking, you may be charged up to $20 of their parking fees once their receipt has been submitted. Charges will only occur if the receipt is submitted within 10 days of your appointment.

WHAT IS INSIGHT MASSAGE CANCELLATION POLICY?

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 2 hours before the appointment time with no penalty

• If you reschedule with less than 2 hour’s notice, prior to the appointment, we charge a $25
• If you reschedule with less than 1 hour’s notice, prior to the appointment, we charge a $35
• If you reschedule with less than 30 minutes’ notice prior to the appointment, we charge a $50

• cancellation will not be refunded. We will reschedule your appointment at later date/and time free of charge within 24 hour notice only .

DOES INSIGHT MASSAGE  ACCEPT INSURANCE?

.In Canada, clients who book a massage with a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) will be issued a receipt that can be submitted to insurance for reimbursement or ask for direct billing .

DO I NEED MY OWN MASSAGE TABLE?

You don’t need your own massage table. The therapists bring the massage table, clean sheets, oils, and music to create the full massage experience.

DO I NEED MY OWN SHEETS FOR THE MASSAGE TABLE?

The therapists always come prepared with fresh linens, however you may use your own.
